Final Thoughts On This Years BB

Hmmmm ...lol

More to follow when I've got my head round how Brian won.

I suspect the older viewers , the 30 + 's , either switching off or certainly not voting played a huge part in Brian's shock victory.

2.4 million votes throughout the whole series is truly dreadful, especially when you consider there were 5 million votes in the final alone a few years back.

Brian was the obvious choice for the Teens and pre-teens, with the pre-teens main exposure to Big Brother being BBLB or as it became known Big Brian's Little Brother, you can imagine 10'000's of kids up and down the country pestering their parents to vote for the hilarious in their eyes, Brian.
Most people I knew above the age of 20 had become bored of Brian's dimbo act a long time before the final, but if they didn't vote for anyone, as it seems they didn't, Brian could and of course did win mostly off the back of the kids votes.
Unless the older age group re-engage with the show and feel inspired enough to vote then we could see more "Brian's" win in the future.

From a betting point of view, although Brian was my worst result, I still won a small amount on the win market, but most of my profit came from the evictions. The 1st few and the last three. Gerry, Tracey and Jonty.

I didn't get round to posting my thoughts on the last 3 evictions on here, too busy on betfair. Talking of which, thanks to all the regulars on betfair for making the 13 weeks a generally enjoyable experience. The banter was great.
A few name checks.
